The predecessor of Suzhou Golden Cat Cement Co. Ltd. (GCC) is
Wuxian Mudu Cement Plant which was built in 1974. It is located in Mudu Town, west of
Suzhou and north to Suxu grant canal and Sufu road. Both water and land transportation
facilities are well developed. |
GCC is a large building material manufacturing
enterprise which has been set up by Jiangsu Golden Cat Industrial Group (GCI) and
Singapore Yangtze Cement Holding Co. (YCH) in January 1995 and the total investment is US$
150 million. Both parties have 50% shares. Domestic part is a provincial level township
group which focuses on industry, technology and trade. YCH, the foreign part is a fund
management company which is controlled by Holderbank ( the largest cement group in the
world). The use of dry rotary kiln with surplus heat power generator technology ables an
annual output of 1.7 million tones and 200 million KWH equipment of the company is threeф4×80m dry kiln,ф3×60m ，ф3.6×66m3.6×70m
dry kiln. The capacity of generating sets is 42.000KW. The whole production process adopts
a EP and achieve electric blending and automatic control. The computer network is
extending to control point to manage it.
GCC has been awarded the following certificates
- Famous Star Enterprise of the province,
-Advanced Quality Control enterprise of the province,
-Advanced Environmental Protection Enterprise of the province.
The annual production value is about 0.5 billion RMB and the tax we pay to
the state is more than 30 million RMB per year. Golden Cat brand product went through
ISO9002 in July 1998 smoothly, it is a good start for product export. The market of the
company covers Jiangsu Province, Shanghai City, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Fujian province
etc. The main products is sold to Shanghai. Our Cement has been used in many projects such
as Sand Yangpu Bridge, Huning super-way, Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, Pudong Jinmao
Mansion and Pudong Internatioal Airport. It has also been exported to Hong Kong, Macau,
Vietnam, Cambodia etc. and are well welcomed.
